STORY

The Elements have existed since the beginning of time, but were considered a threat to humans. Therefore, Project Pertaleme was established to educate the Elements into using their abilities. Once they reach high school, they will be given an invitation to attend Atom Academy, the heart of the project.====The story revolves around these Elements, particularly Hydrogen and Oxygen, who discover an abandoned experiment at the old greenhouse behind their school. Joined by their classmates, they aim to finish it using the lessons and experiences they learned in Atom Academy. Along the way, the secrets of Project Pertaleme unfold before their eyes. The world becomes their lab, and their lives transform into an experiment challenged by the expectations of the universe and themselves.

SYSTEM

Project Pertaleme

A system to help educate the Elements into using their abilities. Operated in a fictional private subdivision, a large, colorful community was built mainly for the Elements, but anyone can work and enter there. Project Pertaleme refers to both the location and the system.

Elements

Human representations of the Periodic Table elements. They have the ability to create, manipulate, and extract atoms of the universe. They are immortal beings and their lives are tied to their Nucleus.

Atom Academy

Sometimes called by its shortened term, At’Aca. At the right age and right time, the Elements attend Atom Academy for four years. They offer special courses that would help the Elements understand and develop their skills in handling their chemical powers. They also teach secular subjects like mathematics, social studies, and literature. The students are divided into groups called classes.

Nucleus

The heart of the Elements, taking the appearance of fashion accessories when locked/unused and evolving into larger (mostly box-like) objects when activated. The design centers around the Elements’ interest and personality. The law requires that all Nucleus should be locked until they graduate Atom Academy to ensure safety, restricting the Element to only a fraction of their power.

M.A.T.T.E.R.

The Measurement of Assessments in Table, Tradition, Experience, and Reflection (M.A.T.T.E.R for short) is the AI grading system used by Atom Academy to record the results of their outputs. It takes on several appearances and are capable of understanding emotion. Each class design their own M.A.T.T.E.R.
